For Startups & Small Brands
Your First Custom Packaging Order, Without the Usual Risk
If you are launching your first product, the hard part is not finding a supplier — it is committing money to one you have never worked with. So we built the opposite of the usual arrangement: see the sample first, keep the inspection report, and let the order grow as your brand does.
The question behind most first-order hesitations
In practice, the reason brands delay their first order is rarely price. It is one of three things:
“The sample looked great. Will the bulk order?”
Sample-to-production drift is real, and it is invisible until the container arrives. The only defence is an inspection that happens before shipping, against a written standard, with the result recorded.
“What if I pay a deposit and it goes quiet?”
You should never have to take a supplier's word for progress. Ask for the inspection report and photographs from each stage — a supplier who will not send them is telling you something.
“Is my volume even worth their time?”
A small first order is easy to accept and easy to deprioritise. You want a supplier whose business model expects the first order to be small — not one tolerating it.
How we take the risk off your side of the table
Four things, all of them things you can check rather than take on trust.
| What we do | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| Sample before you commit | Catalogue items can be sampled quickly; custom samples follow design approval. Sample fees are typically credited against the production order, so deciding costs you very little either way. |
| MOQ confirmed per project — not a blanket number | We deliberately do not publish a fixed minimum. It depends on the container, whether tooling is involved, and the decoration — so we quote it against your product instead of making you reverse-engineer it from a website. |
| An inspection report on every order, with the inspector named | Every order is checked to ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 across three stages — during production, final, and pre-shipment — measured with calipers to 0.02 mm. The report is yours to keep, and it names the person who signed it. |
| Published quality archives | Our QC reports page shows real historical inspection records from 2007–2020 with client details masked — including batches that were not signed off first time. Most suppliers show you a certificate; we would rather show you the work. |
One thing we are equally direct about: we do not hold stock. Everything is produced against your specification, which is what makes custom tooling, decoration and material choice possible. If what you need today is a few hundred stock bottles, we are the wrong supplier — and we would rather say so now.
How a first order usually goes
Most brands we work with start smaller than they expect to end up. That is the point — the first order exists to answer “can I work with these people”, not to test your warehouse.
1 · Sample
Pick a direction from the catalogue or send your own design. You receive a physical container to hold, fill and show people.
2 · First order
Produced to your specification, inspected in three stages, and shipped with the report. This is the order that tells you whether we are worth keeping.
3 · Repeat and scale
Reorder, add formats, improve the decoration. Tooling already exists, so each round gets faster and cheaper per unit.
