Details →Choosing an eyeshadow container
Eyeshadow packs run from a single pan to a large palette, and the differences that matter are the hinge, the way the pans are held, and whether the pack is meant to be refilled.
Pan count decides the architecture
A single-pan case is a hinge and a lid. A duo or quad adds a tray and a question about how the pans are retained. Beyond that the pack usually needs an inner frame and a mirror, which changes both the tooling and the assembly sequence.
Pan fit and refillability
If pans are supplied separately, or the pack is meant to be refillable, the pan dimensions and the retention method have to be fixed before tooling starts. Changing pan size afterwards normally means a new tool.
Hinge life
A palette opened every day for months puts repeated load on a small feature. Ask for the intended open-and-close life to be stated before committing to a tool, and test a sample at that count rather than judging the first few openings.
Materials and finish in this category
PS, SAN and ABS dominate, and the choice is usually about surface quality and how well the case takes decoration rather than about barrier. METALLIZED and frosted finishes are common on this category because they read as premium on a small, handled object.
