This is the umbrella category for rigid colour-cosmetics packs — compacts, sticks, gloss tubes, jars and powder cases. Almost always, the formula and the filling line decide the pack, not the other way round.
Start from the formula
Pressed and loose powders need a pan and a hinge that holds its open position. Anhydrous sticks — lipstick, balm — need a mechanism that grips the bullet through the temperature swings of shipping. Creams, glosses and liquids need a seal that survives a filled carton. Fix the formula type before the pack.
Then the filling line
Hand filling tolerates more closure clearance than an automatic line does. If the pack has to run on existing filling equipment, that constraint belongs in the brief from the start — it often rules out a one-piece case or a tight-tolerance snap fit.
Materials across this range
PS, SAN and ABS make up the large majority of this catalogue — the standard resins for rigid cosmetic cases, and the easiest to decorate. PP appears where a cream or lotion needs better chemical resistance; PET and PETG appear where the pack has to show its contents. Glass and aluminium are a small part of the range.
Decoration is a separate decision
Printing and surface finishing are quoted per project rather than designed into the pack. Each product page lists the options commonly specified for that container's material. Availability always depends on the individual container's geometry and the order, so it is confirmed at quote stage.
What the brief needs to contain
Target fill weight or volume. Formula type and its carrier. Whether artwork is final. Whether an existing mould can be used or a new one is needed. Annual and first-order volume. The market the product is sold into, since packaging rules differ by region.
