Details →Choosing a lip gloss tube
Lip gloss tubes are defined by the applicator and the orifice, not by the outer tube. Those two parts decide how the product applies and how much of it leaves the tube per stroke.
Applicator first
Doe-foot, spatula, brush or flocked tip — each gives a different pickup and a different feel on the lip. The applicator also sets the internal neck dimensions, so it is one of the earliest decisions and one of the most expensive to change later.
Orifice and flow
The orifice diameter controls how much gloss passes per squeeze, and it has to suit the viscosity of the formula. A thick gloss through a narrow orifice is a complaint waiting to happen; a thin gloss through a wide one empties the tube too fast.
Square or round section
Round tubes are the default and the most economical. Square and oval sections give a larger decorated face and stop the tube rolling on a shelf — worth it where the pack is sold standing on a counter rather than lying in a tray.
Materials in this category
PS and SAN are the usual choices for the tube body because they are clear or easily tinted and take printing cleanly. Capacity is often the number buyers start from, and it is not populated on every item in this catalogue — where it is missing, confirm it against the moulding rather than inferring it from the outer dimensions.
